North Tama Dollars for Scholars Program for NT Students.

North Tama Dollars for Scholars is in its 6th year of serving North Tama Community School District's graduating seniors and their families.   

Be assured that 100% of your donation will go to scholarship funding.  Administrative costs of chapter operations are funded by separate activities of our local volunteer board members. 

To be eligible to apply, the applicant must:

  • be a graduating senior of North Tama High School or a graduating senior home school student residing within the North Tama District.
  • plan to attend an accredited college, university, or post-secondary institution, technical college, or vocational or trade school (not limited to four-year schools); The Institution must be in the state of Iowa.
  • demonstrate meaningful involvement in school, community, or citizenship opportunities (extracurricular activities, Silver Cord hours, community volunteer, clubs and organizations, work experience).

North Tama Dollars for Scholars is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community-based organization.  The North Tama chapter serves as a clearinghouse for the generous businesses, civic and school groups, and individuals that provide North Tama Dollars for Scholars awards. 

The North Tama chapter is affiliated with the national sponsor organization, Scholarship America.
